Dutch parents give up adopted kid after seven years

I just saw this on our local bay area NBC 11 news about a dutch couple giving up their 7-year old adopted daughter because the kid they say doesn’t fit in. They had adopted the South Korean girl when she was four months old after they failed to conceive any children. However after the adoption they did conceive two kids biologically. They have handed over the kid to social workers in Hong Kong where they are currently living (The dutch guy is a diplomat). I am not sure what to say but their actions certainly don’t fit it.

White guy doing bollywood

This is an old video about a white guy doing a bollywood number.

He said, He said

The world is wondering today what Marco Materazzi may have said to Zidane to provoke the headbutt. It has to be something nasty but what if it is something lame and silly like.

Hey Zidane, got comb ?

Or something complementary

Hey Zidane, nice head and a nice butt.

Or something neutral but got mis-interpreted in the Italian to French translation or in the ambient noise

Hey Zidane, paper or plastic ?

Sweet Gas

Thanks to good old sugarcane, Brazil is all set to achieve gasoline independence this year. Most of the new cars sold in Brazil are flex cars which are able to run on ethanol, gasoline and blended mixture of the two. Moreover sugarcane ethanol is cheaper to produce than corn ethanol which is used in United States. Brazil also requires all gas stations to provide atleast one ethanol pump. According to NBC news, sugarcane ethanol will remain cheaper than gasoline as long as gasoline stays over $45 a barrel. More here.

Is Hell exothermic or endothermic ?

Here is an interesting article whether Hell is exothermic (radiates heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat). It’s about a question that a professor asked in his mid-term paper and the response from one of his students.

BTW, Dr Robert Schambaugh, Chemical Engineering professor from the University of Oklahoma, maintains he never asked the question. As you search the internet, you find different variants of the response with different school, professor, the girl and the outcome.
