Sympathies should go out to the rantlusters residing in the Northeast US. Apparently, the dumbest drivers in the US are from there. One out of five didn’t know that pedestrians have the right of way in a crosswalk.

I can attest to a significant number of jerks that drive in the Boston area. I don’t think it is that they don’t know the rules, it is that they are so aggressive to the point of being really rude.
Apart from playing chicken with people at pedestrian crossings, another major traffic transgression is that many drivers entering a roundabout (rotary) here often don’t yield to cars already in it. You then see the strange sight of a car in a roundabout yielding to new cars entering it. The problem here is that if you’re in the roundabout and don’t watch out, you might have a collision with a entering car that didn’t yield to you.
